Thanksgiving Flower Gifts

Thanksgiving is one of the biggest holidays of the year. You can make it more festive with Thanksgiving flower gifts. Whether you’re looking for a present for your Thanksgiving host or something to spruce up your own dining table for the occasion, you will find that Thanksgiving flower gifts can do the trick. Here are quick tips on getting them.

There are no traditional ‘Thanksgiving flowers,’ but most people prefer roses. About two dozen yellow roses arranged in an attractive vase should do the trick. Expect to spend anywhere from $90 to $120 (including glass vase), plus shipping if you are having them delivered.

A mixture of flowers arranged in a casual basket is perfect for homey Thanksgiving celebrations. Pink roses, tulips, pink ranunculus, and white daisies peeking out from stems of white waxflower are both elegant and cozy. Mixed garden flowers are usually cheaper than roses, and have more color to them. Expect to spend about $70 to $80 on a basket, plus delivery charges when applicable.

Are you on a budget? You can still get beautiful Thanksgiving flower arrangements – just go for a lower-end type of flower. Try daises – they are cheery and perfect for Thanksgiving. Fresh and crisp white daisies are sure to add warmth and light to any home. You can have them arranged in a glass vase or a sweet basket. You will only spend about $30 to $40 for a nice little daisy package.

If you are looking for something longer-lasting, then do not buy flowers – buy an indoor plant instead. A Chinese evergreen plant (also known as aglaonema plant) is a perfect gift for your Thanksgiving host, and a perfect addition to your own home. You can ask the flower shop to arrange the plant in a nice, easy-to-maintain garden planter. These evergreens can stand any weather, so expect them to still be there in the next Thanksgiving. They cost anywhere from $75 to $90.
